A review of Lime Kiln Inn by Ceejay written on Wednesday 16th of June 2010
This pub is brilliantly run by Ashley and Helena and is definitely worth a visit. We have taken 2 walking groups there for lunch after walking in the Grantham canal area. Today, we enjoyed fifteen freshly cooked meals with no complaints, all arrived quickly and piping hot. The steak and kidney pie, beef lasagne and bread and butter puddings are all homemade and excellent quality. The fish (whilst not the cheapest around) is high qualty and the crispy batter very good....you can even choose grilled fish!! One of our group who eats in pubs a lot was heard to say that the chips were the best she had tasted for a long, long time. Give it a go. .
